MUHAMMED LAWAL SHUAIBU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): This application is brought by the appellant, Lawali Suleiman pursuant to Section 28 (1) of the Court of Appeal Act, Cap C36 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 and under the inherent jurisdiction of the Court praying for the following orders:-
1. An order of Court admitting the appellant/applicant to bail pending the hearing and determination of appeal No. CA/S/126C/2016 before this Honourable Court.
2. And for such order or further orders this Honourable Court may deem fit to make the circumstances.
The grounds upon which the application is predicated are as follows:-
1. That the lower Court admitted the applicant to bail pending trial and he was in total compliance with the bail conditions throughout the trial.
2. All the offences which the applicant was tried, convicted and sentenced are bailable in nature.
