Plaintiff’s case
The plaintiff is a former sales executive of the defendant company. The plaintiff has brought this action primarily because of unpaid sales commissions which she claims she earned but which the defendant company has refused to pay her. The plaintiff, until 23rd October 2017, was represented by G. H. Quist of Prudential Law Offices. The plaintiff’s claims in her writ of summons filed on 28th November 2011 are as follows:
a) Payment of an amount of US$65,620.91 or its cedi equivalent being 3% commission on transactions with Newmont Ghana Limited.
b) Payment of an amount of US$6,400.20 or its cedi equivalent being 3% commission on transactions with Meridian Port Services.
c) Payment of an amount of US$4,821.00 or its cedi equivalent being 3% commission on transactions with Chirano Goldmines.
