INTRODUCTION
This criminal charge filed before this court on 23 January 2025, concerns allegations of deception, recruitment and trafficking of children brought against the Defendant, Victoria Ugwu, under Section 13(1) and 2(a)(b)(c) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015 (hereinafter referred to as the TIPPEA Act).
