RULING
On 28th January 2025, the Applicants herein instituted an action against the Respondents and one another named Opanyin Kwame Nyarko seeking a myriad of reliefs against them including an order restraining them from organizing funerals and other events in Applicants’ family house including the one week funeral celebration of one James Edward Arthur (deceased).
Just a day thereafter, i.e. on 29th January 2025, the Applicants as Plaintiffs in the suit filed a motion on notice for interlocutory injunction seeking to restrain the Respondents together with Opanyin Kwame Nyarko as Defendants to the action, their agents, assigns, etc. from holding, organizing or doing anything in respect of the 40 days observation of the death of Mr James Edward Arthur in the family house of the Royal Asona Ebusuatsir of Agona Abodom on Friday 31st January 2025.
