RULING
The plaintiff issued a writ on 26/02/09 against the defendant for the following reliefs:
a. A declaration that the plaintiff’s appointment as Human Resources Officer and Administrator was made permanent by the efflux of time;
b. A declaration that the purported transfer of the plaintiff by the Diocese to the Koforidua Diocesan office was improper and contrary to law;
c. The purported termination of the plaintiff’s employment by defendant was unfair;
d. An order for the payment of redundancy pay to the plaintiff in accordance with the provisions of the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651);
e. An order for the payment of all outstanding leave entitlements due and payable to plaintiff under sub-part II of the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651);
f. Compensation (damages) for extreme hardship and mental agony caused by the complainant and his family;
g. Damages for breach of his employment contract;
