RAPHAEL CHIKWE AGBO, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): In Suit No. HOR/56/2012, Dame Joy Okeke obtained judgment against the Inspector-General of Police and same Police Affairs at the High Court of Imo State in the sum of ₦5 Million and ₦10,000.00 costs. The judgment debtors were unwilling to pay. The judgment creditor took out a garnishee proceeding in HOW/405/2013 against several banks including the appellant seeking to attach the judgment debtors funds domiciled in them. Upon the motion ex-parte filed by the judgment creditor, the High Court of Imo State made an order nisi against the appellant. On service of the order nisi on the appellant, it filed at the trial Court, which affidavit is reproduced hereunder:
