MOHAMMED DANJUMA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal rose from the judgment of the High Court of Akwa Ibom State sitting in its appellate jurisdiction, at the Uyo Judicial Division delivered on 9th March, 2021 in Suit No: HU/2A/2021. The judgment is located at pages 208-221 of the Record. The Appellate High Court Coram: Hon. Justice Uwem F. Ibritam in his judgment, upheld the judgment of the Appellate Magistrate Court, which in turn affirmed the decision of the Customary Court sitting at Obio Offot District Court. Aggrieved by the judgment of the lower Court, the Appellant pursuant to the leave of this Honourable Court granted on 17th October, 2024 filed a 5 Grounds of Notice of Appeal on 23rd October, 2024, while the Record was compiled and transmitted to the Registry of this Court on 2nd December, 2024.
