MUHAMMED LAWAL SHUAIBU, J.C.A.(Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of the Sharia Court of Appeal, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State delivered on 16/1/2017 which affirmed the judgment of the Upper Sharia Court, Ribah at page 32 of the record of this appeal as follows:
Based on the foregoing we at the Sharia Court of Appeal, Kebbi State Yauri/Zuru Division have affirmed the decision of the Upper Sharia Court, Ribah who has confirmed the disputing farm to the respondent before this Court. The decision is in accordance with the principles of Islamic Law.
Miffed by the above, the appellant filed this appeal through a notice of appeal filed on 8/2/2017 containing two grounds of appeal. The said two grounds of appeal are reproduced hereunder as follows:
