JUDGMENT
Plaintiff by letter dated 16th January, 2012 (exhibit A) was employed by Defendant; the latter being a private university in Accra. The terms and conditions of the appointment were listed in exhibit A. Plaintiff asserts that, he worked on part time basis from February, 2012 to December, 2012 on full time basis from January, 2013 to March, 2013 when he resigned. Plaintiff states that, since his appointment, Defendant has failed to pay him and also pay social security and national insurance trust contributions on his behalf as required by law. Plaintiff is thus claiming the following reliefs:
a. Recovery of the sum of Thirty Two Thousand and Fifty Six Ghana Cedis and Sixty Five Pesewas (GH¢32,456.65) and One Thousand Two Hundred United States Dollars (US$1,200.00) being the Plaintiff’s earned salaries and allowance for the period of his employment.
b. Interest on the unpaid salaries and allowance in (a) above from April 1, 2013 to date of final payment at the prevaili…
