JUDGMENT

AMALEBOBA, J.

This is a Wife’s Petition for dissolution of marriage and for the grant of other  ancillary reliefs. The Parties were married under Akan Customary Law. The Petitioner alleged that the marriage between the parties has broken down beyond reconciliation on account Respondent’s behaviour, as the Respondent has abused her verbally, physically and emotionally and has refused to maintain her. She therefore by her Petition, seeks the following reliefs against  the Respondent; 

a. Dissolution of the marriage between the parties 

b. The Respondent should be compelled to pay a lump sum financial settlement of Seventy Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 70,000) 

c. That the Honourable Court should make an order compelling the  Respondent to buy out the Petitioner on her share that she holds in the property situate lying and being at No. 1, Leader Avenue E 12, 6JP in the United Kingdom specifically, London.
