J U D G M E N T 

The parties were married under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap 127) (1951  Rev) on 2010 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly on the 27th day of February, 2010. The Petitioner is a Serbian citizen whilst the Respondent is of Ghanaian nationality. The parties are resident in Ghana. 

Per the petition filed on the 6th day of April, 2016, the Petitioner is seeking the following reliefs: 

a. That the marriage celebrated between the parties be dissolved.

b. That custody of their daughter be shared equally between the parties in the divorce settlement agreement. 

The Respondent filed an Answer on the 12th day of April, 2016 and cross petitioned for the following reliefs: 

a. That the marriage in fact celebrated between the parties be dissolved.

b. That the parties have shared custody of the child of the marriage.

c. That the Petitioner pays an amount as a financial settlement to the  Respondent. 

The Petitioner testified on oath that he and the Respondent got married in the year 2010…
