SANUSI, JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): In this application filed in this court on the 9th of May 2000, the applicant is seeking the undermentioned reliefs:-
1. An order of extension of time within which to apply for the order of the honourable court staying further proceedings in suit No. LD/1172/97 pending before Justice B. C. Shitta-Bey at the Lagos High Court.
2. An order of the honourable court staying further proceedings in suit No. LD/1172/97 pending before Justice B. C. Shitta- Bey at the Lagos High Court pending the determination of the appeal filed against the ruling of the said court delivered on the 15th day of July 1998.
3. And for such further order or other orders as the honourable court might deem fit to make in the circumstance.
