AN ACT to establish a Ghana National Service Scheme in accordance with article 176 of the Constitution and for other matters connected therewith.BE IT ENACTED by Parliament as follows:-

Part 1 – ESTABLISHMENT OF GHANA NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

1. Establishment of the Ghana National Service Scheme

There is hereby established a Ghana National Service Scheme in this Act referred to as “the Scheme”.

Application of the Scheme

2. Application of Scheme

(1)The Scheme shall apply to any person who-

(a)is a citizen of Ghana; of Scheme.

(b)has attained the age of eighteen years or more.
