AN ACT to amend the Criminal Code 1960 (Act 29) to enable the offence of robbery to be tried summarily or on indictment and to provide for related matters.DATE OF ASSENT: 3rd July, 2003.BE IT ENACTED by Parliament as follows:

1. Section 149 of Act 29 amended

The Criminal Code 1960 (Act 29) as amended is further amended by the substitution for section 149 of the following:"Robbery
(1)149. Whoever commits robbery is guilty of an offence and shall be liable, upon conviction on trial summarily or on indictment, to imprisonment for a term of not less than ten years, and where the offence is committed by the use of an offensive weapon or offensive missile, the offender shall upon conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than …
