LONGTITLE AN ACT to provide for the registration of certain persons who were licensed to practice as auctioneers before and after the coming into force of the Auction Sales Law, 1989 (P.N.D.C.L.230.) and for related matters.

1. Application for auctioneer’s licence

A person who before the coming into force of the Auction Sales Law, 1989 (P.N.D.C.L. 230) and whose licence has not been renewed at the date of the coming into force of this Act, may apply to the Board under section 6 of the Auction Sales Law, 1989, for the grant of an auctioneer’s licence.

2. Grant of licence

(1)Where the Board is satisfied that an applicant under section 1 of this Act

(a)was duly issued with a licence under the Auction Sales Ordinance (Cap. 196), or

(b)has been in practice as an auction…
