AN ACT to establish the Lands Commission to integrate, subject to the Constitution, the operations of public service land institutions under the Commission in order to secure effective and efficient land administration and to provide for related matters.ENACTED by the President and Parliament:

The Lands Commission

1. Establishment ofthe Lands Commission

(1)There is established by this Act the Lands Commission in accordance with article 258 of the Constitution.

(2)The Commission is a body corporate with perpetual succession, a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.

(3)The Commission mayfor the performance ofits functions acquire and hold movable and immovable property and may enter into a contract or any other transaction.
