AN ACT to provide for the establishment of the University of Energy and Natural Resources to generate, advance and apply knowledge in energy and natural resource sciences and for related matters.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President:

The University

1. Establishment of the University of Energy and Natural Resources

(l)There is established by this Act a body corporate with perpetual succession to be known as the University of Energy and Natural Resources.

(2)Where there is a hindrance to the acquisition of property, the property may be acquired for the University under the State Property and Contracts Act, 1960 (C.A.6) or the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125) and the cost shall be borne by the University.
