AN ACT to establish the State Interests and Governance Authority, to oversee and administer the State interests in state-owned enterprises, joint venture companies and other State entities and to provide for related matters.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President:

1. Preliminary Application

(1)This Act applies to specified entities.

(2)This Act does not abrogate or affect the validity of the functions or operations of any specified entity.

(3)Subject to subsection (2), where there is a conflict or inconsistency, between any other enactment and this Act, this Act shall prevail.
