AN ACT to establish the Ghana Investment Promotion Authority to encourage, promote, facilitate and regulate investments into and within Ghana, to provide for the creation of an incentive framework and a transparent, predictable and facilitating environment for investments in Ghana, to facilitate investment outside Ghana by Ghanaian investors in Ghana and to provide for related matters.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President:

Preliminary Provision

1. Application of the Act

(1)This Act applies to enterprises in Ghana.

(2)Despite subsection (1), this Act shall not be interpreted to restrict compliance with the requirements of any other enactment.
