AN ACT to prohibit the sale of beer and spirits in private houses and to provide for related matters.

1. Prohibition of sale of beer stout spirits

(1)Beer, stout, wine or spirit shall not be sold on the premises of a private house.
(2)Despite an enactment to the contrary, a licence granted to a person under the Liquor Licensing Act, 1970 (Act 331) in respect of the sale of beer, stout, wine or spirits on any premises specified in subsection (1) of this section shall cease to have effect.
