WHEREAS by section 2 of the Constituent Assembly and Plebiscite Act, 1960 (No. 1) this Constituent Assembly is authorised to enact such provisions for or in connection with the establishment of a new Constitution as it thinks fit:AND WHEREAS it is expedient to enact the provisions hereinafter appearing in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution.NOW THEREFORE be it enacted by the Constituent Assembly as follows:β€”
