AN ACT to prescribe the pensions, gratuities and allowances payable to officers in the Public Services and to provide for related matters.

1. Pensions Regulations

(1)Pensions, gratuities and allowances may be granted by the President in accordance with the Regulations contained in the Schedule to officers who have been in the applicable public service.
(2)Regulations made under this section shall have the same force and effect as if they were contained in the Schedule.
(3)Where the President is satisfied that it is equitable that a regulation made under this section should have retrospective effect in or confer a benefit on or remove a disability attaching to a person, that regulation may be given retrospective effect for that purpose.
