Arms and Ammunition Regulations 1962

Part I – PRESCRIBED AUTHORITIES AND PORTS OF ENTRY,

1. Prescribed Authorities

IN exercise of the powers conferred on the President by Section 24of the Arms and Ammunition Act 1962. the following Regulations are hereby made this 26th day of June, 1962.

(1)The prescribed authorities shall be the under-named officers:—

(a)for all the purposes of the Act other than those specified in subparagraphs (b) and (c) and, to the extent that no local authority is the prescribed authority thereunder, subparagraph (d) of this paragraph and regulation 58 of these Regulations, the Commissioner of Police or the Officer appointed by him to carry out the duties of the prescribed authority in the area in res…
