IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Petroleum by subsections (1) and (2) of section 94 of the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 2016 (Act 919), these Regulations are made this....day....of 2017.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Scope

(1)These Regulations apply to the reporting and management of petroleum data obtained from the conduct of petroleum activity within the jurisdiction of the Republic.

(2)The reporting and management of petroleum data obtained from the conduct of petroleum activity includes

(a)the receipt, interpretation, analysis, and retrieval of petroleum data;

(b)the provision of a safe environment for the storage of petroleum data submitted;
