IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Petroleum by subsections (1) and (2) of section 94 of the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 2016 (Act 919), these Regulations are made this 25th day of June, 2018.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Application

These Regulations apply to petroleum activities.

2. Reference map

For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, the blocks on the reference map shall each be of a size equivalent to ten minutes of latitude and twenty minutes of longitude unless adjacent areas or boundaries with other jurisdictions require otherwise.
