IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Aviation by section 25 of the Ghana Civil Aviation Act, 2004 (Act 678), these Regulations are made this 12th day of March, 2019.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Application

(1)These Regulations apply to investigation activities following accidents and serious incidents involving civil aircraft when they occur in or over the Republic of Ghana or within the Accra Flight Information Region.

(2)The specifications concerning the State of the Operator apply only where

(a)an aircraft is leased, chartered or interchanged;

(b)the State is not the State of Registry; and
