IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Health by section 96 of the Mental Health Act, 2012 (Act 846), and on the advice of the Board, these Regulations are made this 31st day of May, 2019.

Structure of the Mental Health Authority

1. Structure of the Authority

In furtherance of section 13 of the Act the Authority shall have the following Divisions and Units:

(a)Administration Division;

(b)Technical Division;

(c)Pharmacy Division;

(d)Finance Unit;

(e)Rights and Quality Division;

(f)Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division; and

(g)Internal Audit Unit.

2. Administration Division

(1)The head of the Administration Division is a Director.

(2)The Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Administration Division.
