IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Transport by section 477 of the Ghana Shipping Act, 2003 (Act 645), these Regulations are made this 1st day of December, 2021.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Application of Regulations

(1)These Regulations apply to a vessel which is operating solely within Ghana's maritime jurisdiction, including inland waterways.

(2)These Regulations do not apply to a

(a)warship, naval auxiliary or other vessel owned or operated by the Government and engaged in non‑commercial services for the Government; or

(b)warship, naval auxiliary or other vessel owned or operated by a State and used for the time being only for the provision of non‑commercial gover…
