IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Food and Agriculture by section 25 of the Tree Crops Development Authority Act, 2019 (Act 1010) and on the advice of the Board, these Regulations are made this 6th day of October, 2023.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Purpose of Regulations

The purpose of these Regulations is to regulate the tree crops industry by providing for

(a)the registration and licensing of value chain actors in the tree crops industry;

(b)the facilitation of agreements between actors in the tree crops industry;

(c)compliance and safety standards for the tree crops industry;

(d)the filing of statistical returns; and

(e)any other matter necessary for the efficient and effective implementation of the provisions of the Act.
