IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for National Security by section 48 of the Security and Intelligence Agencies Act, 2020 (Act 1030), these Regulations are made this 23rd day of October, 2023.

Preliminary Provisions

1. Purpose of Regulations

The purpose of these Regulations is to prescribe the
(a)structure of the Ministry, and
(b)terms and conditions of service of staff of the Ministry.

2. Application of Regulations

(1)These Regulations apply to a staff of the Ministry other than a staff of the
(a)Internal Intelligence Agency;
(b)External Intelligence Agency, and
(c)National Signals Bureau established under the National Signals Bureau Act, 2020 (Act 1040).
