1. Indemnity for acts in connection with the change of government

A Court shall not entertain an action or take a decision or make an order or grant a remedy or relief, in a proceeding instituted against,

(a)the Republic, or

(b)the National Redemption Council or the Executive Council, or

(c)a person acting under the authority of either Council on or after the commencement of this Act, or

(d)a member of the Armed Forces or the Police Service, or

(e)a person acting under the authority of the Commander-in-Chief or the Inspector-General or Police or in the course of military or police duties on or after the commencement of this Act, or

(f)any person or persons acting in concert or individually to assist …
