An Act of Parliament to declare the terms and conditions applicable to loans authorized to be raised in the United Kingdom by the Government of Kenya, and to provide for the creation of Kenya stock
1. Short title and application
(1)This Act may be cited as the General Loan and Stock Act.(2)This Act applies only to the raising of loans in the United Kingdom, andVnothing in this Act shall prevent the raising of loans in Kenya upon such terms and conditions as are specified in any Act authorizing the raising of such loans.
2. Interpretation
In this Act, except where the context otherwise requires—“registered stock” means stock transferable by instrument in writing;“stock” includes both inscribed stock and registered stock.
