An Act of Parliament to provide for the acceptance by Kenya of an agreementwith the United Kingdom for the taking over of the liability for certain pensions of overseas officers and to provide for matters related thereto
WHEREAS on the 29th day of March, 1977, an agreement, entitled thePublic Officers’ Pensions (Kenya) Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement”) was entered into between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Kenya concerning certain public officers’ pensions;AND WHEREAS a copy of the text of the Agreement has been laid before the National Assembly;AND WHEREAS it is expedient that provision should be made for the acceptance by Kenya of the Agreement and for the carrying out the obligat…
