Part I – PRELIMINARY

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Anti-Counterfeit Act, 2008.

2. Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—"Agency" deleted by Act No. 18 of 2018, Sch.;"Authority" means the Anti-Counterfeit Authority established under section 3;"Commissioner" shall have the meaning assigned to it under the Kenya Revenue Authority Act (Cap. 469);"complainant" means a person, institution, government agency or state corporation entitled to lay a complaint under section 33(1), or who has laid such a complaint;"consu…
