Part I – PRELIMINARY

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights Act, 2011.

2. Interpretation

(1)In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—"Cabinet Secretary" means the Cabinet Secretary for the time being responsible for matters relating to human rights;"chairperson" means the chairperson of the Commission appointed under section 11;"Commission" means the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights established under sectio…
