IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 20 (g) of the Hide, Skin and Leather Trade Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries makes the following Rules:-

1. These Rules may be cited as the Hide, Skin and Leather Trade (Cess) Rules, 2017.2. The cess payable on hides, skins, leather and leather goods shall be a percentage of the free on board values at the rate set out in the Schedule hereto.3. The Hide, Skin and Leather Trade (Cess) Rules,2014 are revoked.
