University of Lagos (Amendment) Act, 1972

THE FEDERAL MILITARY GOVERNMENT hereby decrees as follows:

1. Amendment of section 8 of 1967, No. 3

In section 8 (2) of the University of Lagos Decree 1967 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Decree”) there shall be inserted immediately after the word “shall’’ where it occurs in the second line thereof, the words “to the exclusion of any other person or authority”.

2. Amendment of section 15

In section 15 of the principal Decree, for the existing subsection (2) there shall be substituted the following new subsection—“(2) The visitor shall as often as circumstances may require not being less than once every year, conduct a visitation of the University or direct that such a visitation be conducted by such persons and in respect of any of the affairs of the University as the visito…
