AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO BE CHARGED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROMOTING AND FACILITATING THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES IN THE SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE INDUSTRIES SUB-SECTORS AND FOR CONNECTED PURPOSES.

Part I – ESTABLISHMENT ANDGOVERNING BOARD OFSMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT AGENCY

1. Establishment of Small and Medium Scale Industries Development Agency

(1)There is established. agency to be known as the Small and Medium Scale Industries Development Agency (in this Act referred to as "the Agency")

(2)The Agency:

(a)shall be body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal; and

(b)may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
