An Act to amend the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, Etc.) Act, No.6, of 2002; and for related matters.

1. Amendment of Act No. 6, 2002

The Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and. Allowances, etc.) Act, 2002 (in this Act referred to as “the Principal Act”) is amended as set out below.

2. Amendment of section 2

Section 2 (1) of the Principal Act is amended –

(a)in paragraph (a), by substituting for the Roman figure “IV” Roman figure “III” in lines 3 and 4; and

(b)in paragraph (b), by deleting the expression “and III (a) and (b)”.

3. Substitution for the Schedule

Substitute for the existing Schedule to the Principal Act, a new Schedule-
