AN ACT TO REGULATE AND CONTROL THE PRODUCTION, MANUFACTURE, SALE, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION AND SPONSORSHIP OF TOBACCO OR TOBAACCO PRODUCTS IN NIGERIA; AND FOR RELATED MATTERS.

Part 1 – OBJECTIVES

1. Objectives

The objectives of this Act are

(a)protect present and future generacions of Nigerians and residents of Nigeria from the devastating health, social, economic,and environmental consequences of use of or exposure to tobacco or tobacco products and exposure to, tobacco or tobacco produce smoke;
