An Act to amend the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science Act, No. 26 of 2007 to properly define the Institute's regulatory role, enforce the provisions of the Act and provide penalties for breach thereof; and for related matters
ENACTED by the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria -

1. Amendment of Act No.26, 2007

The Nigeria Institute of Animal Science Act, No. 26 of 2007 (in this Act referred to as "the Amendment of Act No. Principal Act") is amended as set out in this Act. 26.2007.

2. Amendment of section 1

Section 1 (2) of the Principal Act is amended by substituting for the word, "shall" the word, "may" appearing in lines 1 and 2.

3. Amendment of section 2

Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by-
(a)substituting for the existing paragraphs (g), (i) and (l), new paragraphs "(g)", "(i)" and "(l)" -
