AN ACT TO ALTER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, 1999 TO MOVE THE ITEM “RAILWAYS” FROM THE EXCLUSIVE LEGISLATIVE LIST TO THE CONCURRENT LEGISLATIVE LIST ; AND FOR RELATED MATTERS.ENACTED BY THE National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

1. Alteration of the Constitution

The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (in this Act referred to as “the Principal Act”) is altered as set out in this Act.

2. Alteration of Second Schedule

The Second Schedule to the Principal Act is altered in(a)\Part I by deleting item 55 “Railways”; and(b)\Part II by inserting a new paragraph “20A”“20A. Railways
