In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 25 of the Oil and Gas Export Free Zone Act and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I,Ambassador ID,Idris Waziri, the Honourable Minister of Commerce, hereby make the following Regulations:

Part I – Administration and Powers of the Free Zone

1. Functions of the Free Zone Authority

The Administration of the Free Zone is vested in the Authority, which in exercise of its functions shall have power to delegate some of its functions as it may, from time to time, determine.

2. Exemption from taxes rates etc.

(1)A licensee shall, in connection with its operations in the Free Zone be exempted from payment of all Federal, State or Local Government Taxes …
