In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 254 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999(as amended) and by virtue of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, ADAMU KAFARATI, Honourable Chief Judge of the Federal High Court lssue the following Rules-

ORDER – I -OBJECTIVES, ESTABLISHMENT, DUTIES AND POWERS OF THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION CENTRE

1. Objectives

(1)The objectives of these Rules are to-
(a)enhance access to justice by providing alternative mechanisms to supplement litigation in the resolution of disputes;
(b)minimize frustration and delays injustice delivery by providing a standard procedural framework for the fair and efficient settlement of disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms;
