JUDGMENT

JUSTICE MARGARET WELBOURNE, JA

This is an appeal from the judgment of the Circuit Court, Accra, dated 29th November, 2013. The petitioner would be known as petitioner and the respondent as such in this appeal.

The Grounds of Appeal are as follows:

a) Having adverted[sic] his mind to the Supreme Court case of Gladys Mensah v. Stephen Mensah (2012) 46 GMJ 48 the learned judge erred by not following same to share the Matrimonial home equitable[sic] between the parties but rather chose the option of ordering the payment of a sum of money to enable the respondent rent an alternative accommodation.

b) The learned judge erred when he granted custody of the children of the marriage age 17, 14 and 11 years to the petitioner in complete disregard of the welfare principle of the child despite adverting[sic] his mind to same.

c) The learned judge failed to observe that the vehicle acquired during the subsistence of the marriage entitles the respondent to a half share of its value and by denyin…
