AN ACT to amend the Energy Commission Act, 1997 (Act 541) to incorporate provisions on local content and local participation in relation to the energy supply industry and for related matters.PASSED by Parliament and assented to by the President:

1. Section 2 of Act 541 amended

The Energy Commission Act, 1997 (Act 541) referred to in this Act as the principal enactment is amended in section 2 by the insertion after paragraph (g) of subsection (2) of "(ga) promote local content and local participation in the supply, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity and natural gas and the provision of allied services to support national development."

2. Section 42 of Act 541 amended
