IN exercise of the power conferred on the Minister responsible for Energy, on the advice of the Board, by subparagraph (i) of paragraph (a) of section 56 of the Energy Commission Act, 1997 (Act 541), these Regulations are made this 15th day of November, 2017.
Purpose and Application
1. Regulation 1 — Purpose
The purpose of these Regulations is to provide for(a)the enforcement of standards for minimum energy efficiency of(i)Self-Ballasted Fluorescent Lamps prescribed in these Regulations and measured in accordance with the Ghana StandardsGS 323:2003 and GS 324:2003 or as may be updated; and(ii)Light Emitting Diode Lamps prescribed in these Regulations and measured in accordance wit…
