An Act of Parliament to repeal and replace the Age of Majority Act by providing a general age of majority, and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith.

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Age of Majority Act.

2. Age of majority

A person shall be of full age and cease to be under any disability by reason of age on attaining the age of eighteen years.

4. Savings

(1)The provisions of this Act shall not affect the capacity of any person who, before the date of commencement of this Act, has attained majority under the law applicable to him.
(2)Notwithstanding subsection (1) of this section, where by any instrument or by the order of any court a guardian has been appointed for any person until that person attains the age of twenty-one years, such appointment shall, unless otherwise ordered, continue…
