1. Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Standardization Marks (Permits and Fees) Regulations.2. Interpretation
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—“inspection” includes the process of examination and conducting of relevant tests by the Bureau to determine the conformity of any commodity with Kenya Standards;“Kenya standards” means standard specifications of any commodity approved by the council as the applicable standard for that particular commodity;“permit-holder” means a person who has been granted a permit to use a standardization mark under the Act or under these Regulations.3.
