In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Minister's Statutory Powers ad Duties (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, 1958, the Governor-General, after consultation with the Council of Ministers, has made the following Order-

1. Citation and application

This Order may be cited as the Transfer of Functions (Lagos) Order, 1959 and shall have effect in respect of the Federal Territory of Lagos.

2. General modifications

The Ordinances sepcified in the First Schedule are modified by the substitution for the words "Governor-General" or "Governor-General in Council" of the word "Minister" wherever the former words appear in the sections or parts of sections of such Ordinances specified in such Schedule.
